ChatGPT’s original abstract registers at 100% AI-generated when checked using Sapling, one of the best AI detectors as measured by our latest batch of testing. After Undetectable AI did its job, the AI likelihood score went down to 33.9%.
But we’re not done yet. If you scroll up and take a close look at Undetectable AI’s output, you will likely notice patterns of grammar mistakes and missed punctuations. Should You Use AI For Academic Research?
LLMs have made impressive strides in recent years, and their potential applications in academic research are vast. However, while it may be tempting to prompt an LLM to write an entire academic paper, it’s important to understand its limitations and use it responsibly.
The short answer is: No. You should not rely on AI to write all the content for your academic research. Use it to assist you, not replace you.
