Following its various editions leaking, Game Science’s Black Myth: Wukong received a new CG trailer at Summer Game Fest. Though demos will be showcased from June 8th to 10th, these are behind closed doors, so we may not learn their details until later. On the bright side, pre-orders are now available, with multiple editions revealed.
The Standard Edition retails for $59.99 and includes the base game for PS5 and PC. The Digital Deluxe Edition costs $69.99, packing in extras like the Bronzecloud Staff, Folk Opera armor set, Wind Chimes Curio and digital soundtrack. Pre-orders also get access to the Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd.
For physical collectors, the Deluxe Edition retails for $169 while the Collector’s Edition is $399, with both launching for PC (though a release date is unconfirmed). The former packs a 1:1 scale Constricting Headband, SteelCase, Warranty Certificate, “Chaos at the Peach Banquet” color prints on a silk scroll, Thunderstone ring, Wind Chime necklace, Gold Sun Crow pin, stamps and a postcard.
The Collector’s Edition includes almost all of this alongside a Confront Destiny figure of the protagonist and a “Teaching of the Heart Sutra” color print on a silk scroll.
Black Myth: Wukong launches on August 20th for PC and PS5. The Xbox Series X/S version has been delayed for the sake of optimization, though Game Science teased potential DLC coming later.
