Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive has achieved a new player milestone, crossing three million players since its launch in June 2021. Its last milestone was in August 2023, with over 2.5 million players, meaning it continues to attract newcomers after all these years.
Interestingly, the developer also briefly mentioned its 3v3 mode announced last December. It doesn’t have a release date, sadly, but it’s still in the works. There’s also the upcoming anime Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers, produced by Sanzigen of Ishura and Black Rock Shooter fame, which will receive more details at the Anime Expo on July 4th.
Guilty Gear Strive is available on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. You can check out our review here. Season 3 recently concluded with the release of Slayer as a new DLC character, but Arc System Works has confirmed that Season 4 is in the works. Stay tuned for updates in the coming months.
