Massive co-op title 33 Immortals is now playable in closed beta form on Xbox Series X/S via Game Pass and PC through the Epic Games Store. It’s available until June 2nd, so sign up now for a chance to play.
Developed by Thunder Lotus Games, 33 Immortals focuses on the same number of damned souls fighting against their final judgment. Initially, players are scattered and must complete various challenges to meet up and cooperate to complete Ascension Battles against enemy hordes. It all culminates in an overwhelming boss fight.
At last month’s ID@Xbox Showcase, we received a quick look at one of the bosses – Lucifer, residing in the Inferno. It’s a devastating challenge, even for 33 players working together, but also quite the spectacle. Check it out here.
33 Immortals will launch into early access later this year and is also coming to Steam. The goal is to take on player feedback and use an active community to “explore different ideas” and “find what works best.” We may learn more about the launch date at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9th, so stay tuned for more details.
